Published September 03, 2013) Radar awal Rusia mengesan pelancaran 2 roket balistik di Mediterranean - Kementerian Pertahanan. Radar amaran awal Rusia telah mengesan pelancaran 2 roket balistik di Mediterranean timur, Rusia Kementerian Pertahanan menyatakan. Pelancaran itu dilaporkan berlaku pada 06:16 GMT, Selasa.

Trajektori peluru berpandu dilaporkan dari bahagian tengah Laut Mediterranean ke arah daratan timur. Presiden Putin Rusia telah dimaklumkan mengenai kejadian itu oleh Menteri Pertahanan Sergey Shoigu, agensi berita Novosti RIA melaporkan.

Kedutaan Syria di Moscow kini tidak mempunyai maklumat mengenai kejadian itu. Tiada isyarat roket serangan atau letupan di Damsyik, Kedutaan Rusia di Syria memperhatikan.

Tentera Israel nampaknya tidak mempunyai data mengenai pelancaran itu. Armavir, sistem amaran awal terhadap serangan peluru berpandu, terletak di selatan Rusia. Ia dikendalikan oleh Angkatan Pertahanan Aeroangkasa Rusia. Mereka menyediakan liputan radar di Timur Tengah. Terdapat 2 radar di sana, dengan salah seorang daripada mereka menghadapi barat daya dan tenggara yang lain.

Russia’s early radars detect launch of two ballistic rockets in Mediterranean – Defense Ministry

Russia’s early warning radars have detected the launch of two ballistic rockets in the eastern Mediterranean, Russia’s Defense Ministry stated. The launch reportedly took place at 06:16 GMT Tuesday.

The trajectory of the missiles is reported to have been from the central part of the Mediterranean Sea towards the eastern landmass. Russia’s President Putin has already been informed about the incident by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

The Syrian embassy in Moscow currently has no information on the incident. There were no rocket attack signals or blasts in Damascus, the Russian embassy in Syria noted.

The Israeli military apparently have no data on the launch either. Armavir, an early warning system against missile attack, is situated in southern Russia. It is run by the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces. They provide radar coverage of the Middle East. There are two radars there, with one of them facing southwest and the other southeast.
