Missile launches were
carried out in the Barents Sea by the Northern Fleet to test the readiness of
shipboard and shore-based missile systems on Friday, said the Russian Defense
Ministry. According to the exercise plan, targets located at a distance of 60
to 400 kilometers were successfully hit by rockets "Granite",
"Mosquito" and "Malachite".
